TABB DECA Brings Home the Gold

Tabb High School joined the rest of District 25 DECA at the District Leadership Conference on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Thomas Nelson Community College. DECA Members competed in competency based events relating curriculum and on-the-job training in case problem role play situations. Students had to solve the problem and present their solutions to the judge. Students placing in the top three overall in each event will travel to DECA State Leadership Conference in March 2013.

Representing Tabb and District 25 DECA at the VA State Leadership Conference March 1-3 in Virginia Beach will be: Rachel Deyerle in Retail Merchandising, Logan Lancaster and Courtney Taylor in Hotel/Lodging Management, Sarah Burkett in Full Service Restaurant Management, and Hannah Dun in Business Finance.
