Author Presents Mini-Writing Workshop for YMS 7th Grade English Classes

On November 9, Virginia Beach author, Sharon Cindrich, presented a mini-writing workshop for students of 7th grade English teachers Melissa Schreiber and Lori Breon. She shared how she became a writer and had students practice strategies to get their writing started. Students collaborated and shared their results. At the end of the presentation, Ms. Cindrich provided the Yorktown Middle School library with copies of her most recent books, A Smart Girl's Guide to Style and A Smart Girl's Guide to the Internet.
