On March 14, Pi Day, students participated in various activities to prove that circumference divided by diameter of different circular sizes will be approximately 3.14. Maggie Hissam and Steven Reese used Oreos, M & M's, and Twizzlers in Deborah Honeycutt's classroom at Grafton Middle School (GMS) to help them prove that no matter how big or small the circle, Pi is about 3.14. |
