Students Dance the Day Away

Richard Winfree, music teacher and Teacher of the Year from Dare Elementary, leads his students as they learn to dance on the blacktop at Dare. Students and teachers are taking advantage of outdoor areas on these beautiful spring days as they wait for the renovation of the main building to be completed. Mr. Winfree was awarded a grant from the York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. that allowed him to purchase materials for a multi-cultural dance exploration unit of study.
