The Yorktown Middle School (YMS) Battle of the Books (BOB) team, representing the York Public Library, earned a spot in the final regional competition by defeating Poquoson and Hornsby Middle Schools at the preliminary competition this past Saturday. YMS will compete against teams from Spratley and Booker T. Washington Middle Schools in the final regional competition at the Williamsburg Regional Library this Friday, March 23 at 8p.m. Congratulations and good luck to the YMS BOB team. |
