Tabb Middle Girls' Basketball Team Captures Bay Rivers District Title

The Tabb Middle School Girls' Basketball Team finished a perfect 12-0 season by knocking off James Blair 40-29 to win the Bay Rivers District Title. Tabb's leadership led by the team captains Erin Fenton, Brooke Mahan and Tawana Rankin lead the championship victory. Their offense produced an average of 35 points per game and the perfect season was completed by winning every game by double digits. The Lady Tiger's play was marked by unselfishness as every player scored this season and the team averaged an impressive 9.8 assists per game. Coach Clarke, "This season was a total team effort from the beginning. We had 15 players and every one of them contributed to our season and our success. They made each other better every day in practice and each game they proved that."
