Magruder Elementary Students Assist in Reseeding Project

In October, the 5th grade students from Magruder Elementary School went on a field trip to New Quarter Park where they were able to interact with experts in the fields of forestry, geology and history. Part of the experience was spent gathering acorns for the Department of Forestry. The students enjoyed it so much they continue to gather acorns from home and school.
