The York County School Division Virtual High School (VHS) Program was the recipient of the NACO Award for their collaboration with the York County Public Libraries. Kevin Smith and Reggie Fox worked together to create a program where VHS students could complete online coursework in the library if they did not have computer access or if they needed a quiet place to work. Many of the VHS students have taken advantage of this opportunity and been most successful.

 

The Achievement award was presented by the National Association of Counties (NACO) to Reggie Fox and Kevin Smith for their 2011 participation in the “Virtual High School: York County Public Library & School Division Partnership” program. Congratulations to Reggie and Kevin.
