Waller Mill Students bid for Heritage Humane Society

Waller Mill Elementary School's (WMES) Bayport Credit Union grant sponsored project came to an end on Friday, May 13. Second grade students earned pretend money as part of an economics unit in their classroom to bid on pet supplies for the Heritage Humane Society. The auction ended on Thursday, May 5 and the Humane Society joined us on Friday with a visitor. The students personally donated the item(s) that they won in the auction to the animals at the Heritage Humane Society.
