York High Graduate Honored at the White House

Kevin Luo, a York High Class of 2009 graduate, was recently honored at the White House as a 2009 Presidential Scholar by the U.S. Department of Education. Kevin is one of three high school seniors chosen in Virginia and one of 141 chosen nationwide for their accomplishments in academics, arts, leadership, citizenship and community service. Additionally, Kevin was joined by Cynthia Hardesty, IB Physics instructor, who he named as his most influential teacher.
