Tabb Elementary’s CHROME Breaks Eggs

Members of the CHROME Club at Tabb Elementary School (TES) were excited to participate in an egg drop contest. Symadore Young and Jennifer McClain, engineers from Newport News Shipbuilding, explained engineering principles and challenged our teams to design a capsule to protect their eggs. The teams needed to work together to develop a design and earn points for not cracking their egg and staying within their given budget.
