Pinch Pot Monsters Invade Grafton Middle

Vicki Layne's sixth grade Exploratory students at Grafton Middle School (GMS) proudly display their awesome pinch pot monsters. The lesson was an introduction to ceramics and to form as an element of art. Each monster was created by hand building a pinch pot which was used for the mouth and body. Students added several features for interest such as fangs, tails and horns. Texture and proper glazing techniques were also requirements.
