Penny Vaughn Chosen as Science Teacher of the Year

Penny Vaughn, 6th Grade Science Teacher from Tabb Middle School, was honored as the 2008-2009 Science Teacher of the Year. This award is co-sponsored by the Langley Chapter of the Air Force Association and the Virginia Air & Space Center. The purpose of the program is to recognize classroom teachers for their accomplishments and achievement by inspiring K-12 students to be excited about science and math, and preparing them to use and contribute to tomorrow's technologies. Vaughn was recognized at the Chapter luncheon on June 9th at the Langley AFB Officer's Club.
