Magruder Students Participate in Read for the Record

Teachers and children at Magruder Elementary School participated in Read for the Record, an attempt to have the largest number of people ever read the same book on the same day. JumpStart, the organizer of the event, is a nonprofit that supports early childhood education. JumpStart hoped to have 2.5 million children hear The Snowy Day, by Ezra Jack Keats, on Thursday, October 7.
