YHS 2011 National Merit SemifinalistsPosted On: 10/8/2010 |
Each year, some 16,000 semifinalists are selected to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program. The competition is based upon a student's performance on the PSAT test during their junior year.
This year York High School has three semifinalists for the 2011 National Merit Scholarship Competition. They are Corrigan Blanchfield, Ke Cheng and Brian Xu.
Grafton High School has one semifinalist, Tara Powell. In addition, GHS had four commended students in the competition as well. They are: Nicholas Grigorian, Eric Hansen, Maruchi Kim and Sora Ko.
