TES Wins Jump Rope for Heart Coordinator of the Year 2010

Bette Seymore, Physical Education teacher for Tabb Elementary School (TES), was recognized by the Virginia Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance for promoting heart health. She has been selected as the Jump Rope for Hear Coordinator of the Year for 2010. Mrs. Seymore has sponsored jump rope clubs for the past ten years. In the last eight of those years, she has also sponsored the TES Jump Rope for Heart Demonstration Team. This TES team, under her guidance, travels to area schools to promote jump rope as an excellent heart healthy activity.
