York High Teacher Receives Award

Congratulations to Lisa Field, Science Teacher at York High School for receiving $1,000 from the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA) Hampton Roads Chapter. Lisa Field is one of nine educators who received the 2009 Science Teaching Tools Awards. Recipients are invited to attend the Chapter’s monthly luncheon at Holiday Inn in October. The AFCEA efforts encourage others to support teachers who assist students in developing an interest in math and science.
