YCSD Two-Hour Early Release - Sept. 22, 2023

After reviewing recent Tropical Storm Ophelia updates, it is anticipated that today's predicted weather conditions will directly affect afternoon bus routes. Based on these forecasts, the York County School Division will implement a two-hour early release schedule today, Friday, September 22.

Dismissal will occur two hours earlier than normal release times, at the following times:

High Schools

• YHS – 12:00 p.m.
• BHS, GHS, THS – 12:05 p.m.
• YRA – 1:10 p.m.

Middle Schools

• QLMS, TMS – 12:45 p.m.
• GMS, YMS – 12:50 p.m.

Elementary Schools

• BMES, MES, MVES, TES – 1:20 p.m.
• CES, GBES, WMES – 1:35 p.m.
• DES, SES, YES – 1:40 p.m.

Preschool classes will be dismissed two hours earlier than normal. Lunch will be served at all locations.

As a reminder, all after-school events and activities for today and this weekend are canceled.
