VDOE Superintendent of Public Instruction Visits YCSD School

Dr. Lisa Coons, VDOE Superintendent of Public Instruction, visited classrooms at Magruder Elementary School this morning to kick of Teacher Appreciation Week. She had the opportunity to observe - and participate - as students took part in small group instruction, writing lessons, and STEM instruction in the school's Makerspace. What better way to start your Monday then working with children?
