Tabb Middle Community Service Day

Tabb Middle School eighth grade students participated in the first annual Community Service Day. The students raked, caulked, painted, mowed, decorated, sealed, bagged, created, trimmed, hoisted, washed, hauled, planted, weeded, sorted and assembled; they also entertained, beautified, sang, assisted, played piano, chatted, shook hands, held hands, smiled and made human connections. The 264 students in matching t-shirts went to four nursing homes, three elementary schools, the York County School Division Bus Garage, Bethel Park, Bargain Box and visited a nearby neighborhood to paint storm drains.
