Girl Scout Daisy Troop 1659 of Yorktown conducted an Earth Day service project at Mount Vernon Elementary School. The Daisy Scouts, who were also joined by two Girl Scout Brownies, weeded and mulched Mustang Meadow, the school’s learning garden. The troop chose to give back to their own school. |
