Community Service Day

Tabb Middle School (TMS) is planning to demonstrate the importance of giving back to the community by sponsoring the first annual TMS Community Service Day for all 8th grade students during the morning of May 13. Students will sign-up to provide service to one of the following community locations: nursing/retirement center, selected YCSD elementary schools, the Bargain Box, Natasha House, Bethel Park and the Wythe Creek Farms Storm Drain Project. In preparation for the event, students are participating in essay and t-shirt design contests in their English classes. The essays will be shared with students the morning of the event and all participants will receive a t-shirt to wear while providing service in the community. TMS students are showing their pride in the community by giving back!
