Students Count Rice

Reading the story "The Grains of Rice" by Demi, prompted the third grade class at Grafton Bethel Elementary School to figure out how many grains of rice there would be if you doubled and kept on doubling the amount. The final amount after doubling 30 times was huge! Results of their calculations were displayed in the hallway.
