Read Across America at Mount Vernon

Students and staff at Mount Vernon Elementary School celebrated Read Across America by dressing as different book characters. Reading Teacher, Ann Campas dressed as Milo from the book, Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days, by Stephen Manes. Lynn Grey dressed as Deputy Head Mistress McGonagall from the Harry Potter book series, Principal Mary Lugo dressed as Snow White and Joanne Lane was a Harry Potter look alike. Students in Sandra Young's second grade class dressed up as their favorite storybook characters.
