2021-22 YCSD Calendar Adjustments

The School Board approved a change to the division’s calendar at Monday night’s meeting. Friday, March 11 will be converted from an Early Release Day to a Student Holiday/Staff Workday. Additionally, the division will now issue Quarter 3 interims on Tuesday, March 15.

This additional time for teachers to collaborate, plan and review student data supports high quality, engaging instruction and student success. Staff recommended the adjustment after considering the potential impact of additional winter weather and in consultation with building administrators regarding the benefits and impacts for our staff and families.
