TMS Student Honored as Congressional App Challenge Finalist

Lucie Cox is the youngest finalist in the Region 2 Second Annual Congressional App Challenge. Lucie and other regional finalists were recognized by Representative Elaine Luria during a virtual award ceremony on December 6, 2020. Participants strived to create a high quality app that is creative and implementable while demonstrating excellence in programming skills. Lucie, an eighth grader at TMS, designed an app through Code.org to raise awareness of butterfly habitat loss.
