YMS Student Recognized in Broadcom MASTERS CompetitionPosted On: 9/23/2020 |
Approximately 3,500 students applied to the competition, and only four students in Virginia made the top 300 list this year. Each of the Top 300 MASTERS will receive a $125 award from DoD STEM. With this new prize, the Department of Defense continues its support of youth in STEM, working towards a more diverse pipeline of highly qualified STEM professionals in the future. Michael’s YMS science teacher, Tabatha Brownschidle, also received recognition through the program. Congrats to both for demonstrating #LeadYCSD qualities! |
