National Merit Scholarships

Two York County high school students have just been named recipients of National Merit $2,500 Scholarships. Annie Liang (YHS) and Nicholas Gu (THS) were selected from a pool of more than 15,000 finalists in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. As finalists in Virginia, these two exceptional students are judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
