February 2020 School Board Meeting

The York County School Board held a special meeting on Monday, February 10. Each meeting is broadcast live on Channel 47 (Cox) or Channel 49 (Verizon) and then posted on the division YouTube site. This month’s meeting is now available for online viewing.

Board members received updates and held discussions on the following topics:

• Grafton Complex - review of actions taken to address this emergency situation, including approval of expenditures related to the fire
• Financial Literacy - annual Strategic Plan report on objective to evaluate and revise the Economics and Personal Finance course
• Program Evaluation - Overview from Gibson Consulting regarding the findings and recommendations from the evaluation of the division’s delivery model for students with disabilities
• FY21 Budget – presentation of the superintendent's proposed budget
