Elementary Teachers Engage Students

Elementary teachers across the division are taking advantage of the season to engage YCSD students in hands-on activities.

At Waller Mill Elementary, pumpkins have been decorated based on student's favorite storybook character. At Dare Elementary, first graders used pumpkins for as their exploration tool for a special STEAM day set of activities. Students used pumpkins to learn about science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
