Yorktown Elementary School Share Reading Strategies

Parent involvement is a critical factor in students academic success. This morning, Yorktown Elementary reading specialists invited parents and students from kindergarten through second grade for a special "working breakfast." They shared strategies for reinforcing reading skills at home. Families left with take home manipulatives and students were able to select books to add to their home libraries.
