Yorktown Elementary School Accepts Donation

During an assembly to kick off a school-wide read of Lemonade Wars, members of the York Republican Women made a generous donation to Yorktown Elementary School (YES). The funds will allow select students to choose books that will be placed in their home libraries and support life-long literacy. Mrs. Sheila Noll, York County Board of Supervisors Chair, Mrs. Cindy Kirschke, YCSD School Board District 2 Representative, Mrs. Pat Barker, and Mrs. Mary Moore presented the donation to YES reading specialists and students.
