Students Exploring Solids

Students in Lisa McCarthy's third grade class at Mt. Vernon Elementary School created three dimensional solids using marshmallows and toothpicks. Students engaged in cooperative learning and conversation as they built square pyramids, cubes and other three dimensional figures.
