Coding at Bethel Manor Elementary School

Coding at BMESKelly Prats, the library media specialist at Bethel Manor Elementary School (BMES), helped incorporate the Hour of Code global movement into school activities in December by teaching students some coding skills during their library time. The students used OZOBOTS as a way to incorporate STEMS in the learning process.

Hour of Code is a global initiative designed to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming during Computer Science Education Week (December 5-11). The largest learning event in history, the Hour of Code reaches over 100 million students in over 180 countries with activities available in over 45 languages.
