YCSD Students Participate in Yorktown Days

Students from multiple York County School Division schools participated in the ceremonies and festivities of Yorktown Day in celebration of the 235th anniversary of Cornwallis' surrender during the Revolutionary War. Bands and other student groups took part in the parade while Yorktown Middle School students performed the national anthem. In addition, students who placed among the top three entries for their level in the National Park Service's centennial anniversary art competition were invited to see their artwork on display at the Yorktown Victory Center.
