Yorktown Beach Clean Up

Dare Elementary School’s preschool class strikes again! Carissa Goodnite’s and Karissa Randall’s classes all joined together with the help of parents to clean up the beach in Yorktown. Each class had spent time talking about trash, recycling, and how to keep our community clean and safe. This is the second year the DES preschool classes have taken part in this service project.

Everyone wore gloves and carried around big trash bags. After collecting several bags of trash, which were then picked up by York County's maintenance crew, the student’s enjoyed an ice cream treat.
