School Board Appreciation Month

Throughout the month of February, students and staff across the York County School Division have been showing York County School Board members how much they appreciate their service. The Virginia School Board Association designates each February as School Board Appreciation Month. Students and staff wrote cards and letters to all the members and shared “thank yous” at the February School Board meeting. Some, like Seaford Elementary School students, invited Board members to join them for a school lunch.
