Seaford Elementary Second Grade Taxation Day

Students in Trisha Mohrhusen's second grade class are studying famous Americans. They started their unit learning why settlers wanted to break away from England. To demonstrate why the colonists felt so strongly about the taxes being imposed on them, students paid taxes to the "queen of England."
