Fuel Up for Play 60

The York County School Division and the division’s food service provider, Sodexo, was awarded a $27,384 Fuel Up for Play 60 grant. The Southeast United Dairy Industry Association (SUDIA) presented the division with the check at the Shape Convention at the Williamsburg Lodge in February. The funds will be utilized to implement fresh fruit smoothies and parfait bars at the middle and high schools. In addition, bicycles were purchased that will be raffled at each school in an effort to emphasize the importance of physical exercise and healthy eating.
