Healthy Bay for Healthy Kids

Two Yorktown Elementary School students and their parents were invited to participate in a special event at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) in October. Virginia’s First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe and Executive Mansion Chef Ed Gross helped a group of ten local second graders learn about the link between human health and the health of Chesapeake Bay during a visit to the Virginia Institute of Marine Science for the most recent Healthy Bay for Healthy Kids event.
