Dozens of students
at Yorktown Elementary School started the new school year with brand new
clothes and supplies courtesy of school partners and donations. The Mount Lebanon
Baptist Church donated more than 100 back packs for children in need, while the
YMCA Bright Beginnings Program arranged a shopping trip to Kohl’s for 40 students.
Both the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church and the YMCA have provided assistance
for children in the school for several years.
