A Study of History

French II students from Yorktown Middle School (YMS) will be presenting school projects at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown on May 9 at 10 a.m. These students have worked all year on a project called: All Is Relative, also known as Tout Est Relatif, about the bias of history based on whose point of view it is presented.

The students have been fortunate to work with volunteers from the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and several teachers at YMS. The students make up six teams of several students and each team selected their own major Revolutionary Actor to show case and present. They were given voice and choice to accomplish how they would present them from both the French and American points of view and in both languages.
