GCC Trophy Comes to YRA

York River Academy (YRA) sent four teams of students to the 30th annual Great Computer Challenge (GCC) at Old Dominion University in March. The students performed exceptionally well and placed in three categories. The Desktop Presentations team placed third while the Graphic Design team earned second place.

On March 26, Annie Gilstrap of WHRO, a co-sponsor of the GCC visited YRA to present the first place trophy to the Video Editing team. Congratulations to the teams and their teacher sponsors for their hard work and expertise.
