York County School Board Office Gives Back

The York County School Board Office (SBO) staff participated in several community-service projects for the holidays. An Angel Tree was set up at the SBO for employees to choose a tag and buy gifts for specific children. Some gifts contained games, dolls, balls, bottles, and clothing. Even a bicycle and fishing pole were placed under the tree!

Employees could also participate in a Toys for Tots collection for the Wes Pak 4th Annual Toy Drive for children at CHKD, which concludes December 11. A food drive for the York-Poquoson Food Closet was held in November and a second food drive will take place December 8-18.
