Fall Leaves!

Last week, Grafton High School Atmospheric Science students went to Seaford Elementary to teach third grade students in “Long's Learners” class about how leaves change color. The high school student-teachers gave a presentation, played a game, and had their students collect fall leaves in order to do a cool experiment to find the color hidden within green leaves. The third graders enjoyed being scientists, wearing goggles and gloves, and they very much loved their high school student-teachers!
