YFPE Radios Help YCSD School Nurses Support Yorktown Day Parade

Monica White, school nurse for Tabb Elementary School; Michael Guttilla, a Booster Club parent; and Kay Balzano, school nurse for Bethel Manor Elementary  Schoolprovided first aid assistance and support to the NNDCC cadets marching in the Yorktown Day Parade on October 19.

A grant from The York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. (YFPE, Inc.) assisted Tabb cadets participating in the Yorktown Day Parade on Sunday. Carrying Motorola radios, purchased with the grant, and first aid supplies, the assistance team worked on the parade route, stayed in communication with the unit, and remained available for emergencies with spectators. All three are proud cadet parents — well done!
