BHS Garden to Table Demonstration

Students in Amy Lockwood’s Environmental Science classes at Bruton High School (BHS) have embraced the Garden to Table experience this year. Throughout the school year, students cultivated a variety of plants in a school garden. As a culminating activity the Executive Chef of Kingsmill Resort, Dale Ford, demonstrated healthy recipes using some of the herbs and vegetables grown in the BHS garden. Students were also able to speak with a nutritionist and fitness trainer about healthy lifestyles.
