Distinguished Achievement Awards

Governor Terry McAuliffe and the Board of Education announced that three York County School Division (YCSD) schools: Coventry Elementary, Mt. Vernon Elementary and Tabb Middle schools earned the Board of Education Distinguished Achievement Award as part of the 2014 Virginia Index of Performance (VIP) awards for advanced learning and achievement.

The VIP award program recognizes schools and divisions that exceed minimum state and federal accountability standards and achieve excellence goals established by the governor and the board. Congratulations on a job well done!
