Yorktown Middle Begins Recycling Program

Students at Yorktown Middle School (YMS) gathered to decorate and distribute boxes for a school-wide recycling program. Art instructor, Danielle Vallino is working with the Middle Years Programme area of Interaction: Community & Service, encouraged students to serve their school community while also having an impact on the environment of the world-wide community. YMS, an International Baccalaureate candidate school looks forward to expanding service activities throughout the local area.
