TMS Students Read to TES Students

Every year, sixth and seventh graders from Tabb Middle School (TMS) visit Tabb Elementary School (TES) to read to the students as part of Read Across America. This year 89 students from TMS visited the TES classrooms. The sixth and seventh graders worked in groups of three or four to revise Readers Theater scripts to share with the elementary students. This event was part of York County School Division's initiative for Transformative Project Based Learning in which students publish their learning to others in the community.
